COVID-19 Policy Updates: Bookings, Cancellations & Safety

Updated 19/01/2021   🙂

Hey guys! We hope that everyone is healthy and well and excited to get the chance to travel once again. We’ve been in hibernation over winter whilst the whole of Poland has been in a “red zone” and the bars and restaurants are shut but the restrictions are due to end on the 31st of January. It’s not clear if they’ll be extended yet. We’ve got our fingers crossed though, hoping  you’ll soon be able to join us for some tasty food and vodka!

Below we’ve put together a little post to get you up to date on everything you need to know before booking. If you think we’ve missed anything please feel free to drop us a message and ask away.

Our Special Cancellation Guarantee

If you need to cancel a booking because of COVID-19 related travel changes we will refund you in full. Our standard refund policy is to guarantee full refunds for any cancellation made at least 24 hours before the start time of a booked tasting. We’ve upgraded this to also guarantee a full refund, even on less than 24 hours notice, provided the cancellation is COVID related.

For example, if your flights are suddenly cancelled after the 24h cut-off then just send us a screenshot of your boarding pass and cancellation confirmation and we’ll refund you in full. We’re also very flexible with re-arranging bookings should that be a better option for you.

Basically we love helping our guests have an amazing time in Kraków and we understand that organising travel at the moment is difficult. We want to make that as stress free and easy as possible for you.

Making Bookings For Tours & Tastings

Bookings can be made easily using the calendars on our product pages. Until Spring we will have slightly different product availability and starting times. We have also reduced the maximum group sizes of tastings to six people.

If you’re booking for a larger group or if you’d like a smaller private tour then please feel free to get in touch and we’ll be happy to arrange that for you. We’re very flexible and can often arrange custom times and private tastings.

You can get hold of us using the website chat function in the bottom right corner or from our Contact Page

Health & Safety Info During the COVID-19 Crisis

We’ve been very closely following the advice of the Polish Government. On our tastings, you will need to carry a mask with you, although it is not mandatory while enjoying your food and drink. As of Saturday the 10th of October it will now be required to wear masks in the street. Please note; our guides will wear masks when carrying food platters but it’s impossible for them to conduct the tasting while wearing a mask.

All tables at our tasting venue are wiped down and disinfected with 95% ABV vodka before the tasting (don’t worry, that one’s not for drinking!). Every single bar, cafe and restaurant in Poland must by law have ample hand-sanitizer available and sanitize tables for new customers. Each of our guides will also carry hand sanitizer for our guests to use, so it is always available.

We’d also really ask that our guests apply common sense. If you’re feeling unwell just let us know and you can cancel your booking without losing your deposit.

Questions, Queries, Special Requests

If you have any requests, questions or issues at all please feel free to ask away and we’ll be more than happy to get back to you.
